RA

RA is an anonymous US Army Special Forces operator who served with the First Special Forces Airborne Command as an 18 Bravo weapons sergeant — one of the most highly skilled soldier specializations in the world, responsible for operating and maintaining an extensive array of weapons including small arms, heavy weapons, explosives, and both allied and foreign weaponry. Between 2013 and 2015, while holding an active TS/SCI (Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance, RA was sent to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane in Indiana for advanced weapons training. During this assignment, he claims to have been escorted into a deep underground facility explicitly identified as the "Off-World Technologies Division," where he observed two pieces of technology described as non-human in origin — including a seamless, consciousness-interactive metallic sphere and a gauntlet-like device identified as a weapon system that had discharged an energy pulse during recovery.

RA provided his complete service record and certifications to UAP researcher UAP Gerb, who confirmed his Green Beret credentials and verified his placement at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane during the stated timeframe.

Assignment to NSWC Crane (2013-2015)

Between 2013 and 2015, RA was sent to NSWC Crane for what was officially described as advanced weapons training, focused on:

  • New minigun system configurations
  • SOCOM weapons coming online, including SCAR rifle iterations
  • Foreign and adversarial weapon technologies recovered by CIA operatives
  • Experimental systems such as alleged Russian bullets incorporating biologics

The training course was classified at the TS/SCI level, with certain training components not permitted to be written down or disclosed in official course descriptions. Out of approximately 10 soldiers in the training class, only RA and one other soldier held TS/SCI clearance — and only these two were taken to view what was described as "foreign adversarial tech" in the underground facility.

Encounter with the Off-World Technologies Division

RA and his fellow Green Beret were escorted deep underground at Crane through multiple security checkpoints after surrendering all electronics. They described:

  • Descending via elevator to a depth where the temperature noticeably dropped due to being "some significant amount below the surface"
  • Passing through compartmentalized security layers resembling a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility)
  • Entering an area that appeared strikingly modern and advanced compared to the deliberately deteriorated surface buildings
  • Seeing directional signage underground, suggesting a facility large enough to require navigation markers

RA's private contractor guide casually referred to the section as the "off-world technologies division" — a statement that induced what RA describes as "ontological shock," though he maintained outward composure as trained.

Technology Observed

Seamless Metallic Sphere

RA observed a basketball-sized sphere displayed on a podium in what appeared to be a scientific observation or viewing room. The sphere exhibited highly anomalous properties:

  • Seamless construction with no visible joints, welds, or manufacturing marks
  • Surface appearance described as "almost liquid but clearly metallic" — unlike any known human-made material
  • Apparent levitation or repulsion off its podium, as if held by an unknown force
  • Surface quality reminiscent of the "mother of pearl effect" reported by Jonathan Weygandt from the 1997 Peru UAP crash
  • Indentation on top approximately the size of a hand, though RA acknowledged this could be a human interpretation
  • Consciousness interaction: Staff stated the sphere responds to some individuals but not others, possibly based on DNA or consciousness type

Gauntlet/Weapon System Device

The second device resembled a gauntlet or tablet — something designed to be worn on the arm. Personnel identified it as a weapon system based on:

  • It having discharged an energy pulse during recovery operations, injuring at least one person
  • Projection of hieroglyphic-like symbols with no visible projection mechanism, leading RA to wonder if the characters were being displayed directly into observers' minds
  • The symbols closely matched iconography described by attorney Daniel Sheehan from classified Project Blue Book photographs he reviewed in 1977 under orders from President Jimmy Carter

Memory Effects and Cognitive Phenomena

RA reported an unusual effect when recalling his encounter with the technology:

  • His normally photographic memory becomes "real fuzzy" specifically when accessing memories of the underground facility
  • This memory suppression is highly atypical for him — he can recall minute details from other military operations but struggles with specifics from the Off-World Technologies Division
  • He described an "unnatural feeling" while in the underground area, as if "we were doing something that wasn't normal"
  • The casual manner in which staff discussed the technology ("like over a coffee break") contrasted sharply with the profound nature of the revelation

This aligns with research by Gary Nolan on UAP-induced cognitive effects and the concept of "Anchors (UAP Recovery Protocol)" allegedly used by recovery operators to keep personnel grounded in reality.

Post-Encounter

After viewing the technology:

  • RA and his fellow soldier were escorted out and returned to their training room for a brief debrief
  • They likely signed non-disclosure agreements, though RA notes this was routine and the exact moment is unclear
  • Both soldiers experienced severe ontological shock upon returning to their hotel, repeatedly asking "what the fuck?" and discussing how "the whole world is different to me"
  • RA lost contact with the fellow witness, who was stationed in a different unit. He later heard unconfirmed rumors the soldier was killed in a combat operation.

Current Activities

RA continues to work in classified capacities:

  • Performs OP4 (Opposing Force) training exercises for special forces units at Area 51
  • Maintains contracts with the Department of Defense and Department of Energy
  • Held an active TS/SCI clearance for 12 years
  • Has been exposed to advanced drone technology including sphere drones and fauna-disguised drones, leading him to estimate that many modern UAP orb sightings are actually advanced military drones

RA states that despite exposure to highly advanced human-made technology including alleged human-built triangular craft using electrogravitic propulsion, nothing he has seen in his continued classified work "pales in comparison" to what he witnessed at the Off-World Technologies Division.

Disclosure Efforts

  • RA connected with UAP Gerb through mutual contacts, wanting to contribute to disclosure while remaining anonymous
  • He deliberately chose not to contact AARO, Luis Elizondo, David Grusch, or Chris Mellon
  • In late July 2023, RA contacted Steven Greer's Disclosure Project via email about his experience but never received a response
  • He is listed as witness #10127 in the Disclosure Project files
  • RA and UAP Gerb are working together to create technical drawings and possible 3D models of the observed technology
