Skepticism of the Willingham Case

Randle's doubts about Willingham are frequently cited in discussions of the Del Rio, Texas crash cases, particularly regarding the inability of the National Personnel Records Service in St. Louis, Missouri to retrieve Willingham's service record. However, UAP Gerb notes that a catastrophic July 12, 1973 fire at that facility destroyed most military records for personnel who served between 1947 and 1963, weakening the absence of records as disqualifying evidence. Co-author Noah Torres of The Other Roswell claims to hold over 50 documents corroborating Willingham's service.

Randle's assessment of the Willingham case remains a significant counterpoint in evaluating the credibility of the 1955 crash retrieval account.
