Michael Schratt
Michael Schratt is an aerospace historian and UAP researcher who has collaborated extensively with Dan Benkert on investigations into triangular craft sightings and the credibility of Edgar Fouché's TR-3B testimony. Schratt gained access to the long-lost files of Leonard Stringfield in Mufon, Ohio, publishing cases from Stringfield's archives that had never appeared in the Crash Retrieval Status Reports 1–7.

Key Contributions
Schratt co-authored work with Benkert that included the extraction of eyewitness quotes from the 1985 Mad, Wisconsin triangular craft sighting — a case significant for its early date and the witness's description of a large, silent triangle. Additionally, Schratt hosts a YouTube channel where he published a four-part series titled "Roswell Revisited" featuring the forensic illustrations and research of Bill McDonald.
Investigation of the RB Case
Schratt was granted access to Stringfield's personal archives — held at MUFON's Cincinnati, Ohio headquarters — and located letters between Stringfield and UFO researcher Michael Johnstone discussing an anonymous Marine whistleblower known as "RB." Stringfield had published a brief account of RB's claims in UFO Crash/Retrieval Status Report 5 under the title "Marine Guards a Disc-Shaped Vehicle, 1963," but Schratt's archival research uncovered the full documentary record. In 2015, Schratt interviewed Johnstone directly to gather additional details about RB's account for inclusion in his own research and publications. The RB case involves claims that in December 1963, a former Marine Corporal guarded a 40-foot disc-shaped craft of non-human origin at an undisclosed military base, witnessing failed attempts to breach the hull using drills, cutting torches, and high-powered lasers.
