Mr X
Mr. X is the pseudonym of an anonymous Italian senator who in 1996 provided Italian UFO researcher Roberto Pinotti with original fascist-era government documents related to the 1933 Magenta, Italy UFO crash/retrieval. The senator claimed to have inherited the documents from a family member who worked on Benito Mussolini's alleged UFO program, the RS-33 (Gabinetto RS 33).

Documents Provided
The materials given to Pinotti consisted of classified telegrams sent by the Agenzia Stefani state propaganda agency on June 13, 1933, internal protocol memorandums bearing the seal of the Kingdom Senate outlining crash retrieval procedures, and handwritten notes describing UFO encounters over Italy between 1933 and 1940. These documents became the foundation for public knowledge of the Magenta retrieval case.
Authenticity
The documents were subjected to forensic analysis by experts who confirmed the paper and ink dated to the 1930s period. Scientific consultant Antonio Agaga publicly stated that the materials could "be considered original and therefore authentic." The documents were later referenced by UAP whistleblowers David Grusch and Luis Elizondo, with Elizondo stating he personally viewed validated documentation from Mussolini related to the craft recovery.
Identity Protection
Mr. X's identity has remained protected to this day, likely due to the sensitive nature of the materials and potential political or historical ramifications of being publicly associated with their disclosure.
