AARO Testimony
Taber's testimony centers on a disclosure made to him by his great-uncle, a contractor who worked at Area 51 as head of security for an Engineering Group known internally as the radar cross-section training team. According to Taber, his great-uncle revealed that while serving in this role, he was privy to information that the base housed an egg-shaped UFO that had been found intact in the Nevada desert. Taber provided AARO with a project patch from Area 51 that he says his great-uncle gave him, which accompanied his memorandum.
As a legal document submitted to a federal office, the memorandum places Taber's account within the formal congressional and executive framework for UAP disclosure established by the National Defense Authorization Acts of 2022 and 2023.
