Don Phillips
Don Phillips is an individual who claimed to have been a contractor employed by Lockheed Martin Skunk Works, the US Air Force, and the CIA, and who gave testimony through Steven Greer's Disclosure Project in 2001 alleging that Lockheed possesses extraterrestrial technology and has conducted anti-gravity research using recovered UAP materials. His background has not been independently verifiable beyond a single newspaper clipping.
Claims
In his 2001 Disclosure Project interview, Phillips made several specific claims:
- Lockheed Martin holds extraterrestrial technology, and "tremendous technological advances" have come from the company's study of it.
- The US military acquired UAP craft from the Roswell crash, and Lockheed was "intimately involved" with the subsequent anti-gravity research.
- Lockheed's black division conducted research into anti-gravity propulsion that has produced working vehicles.
These claims are broadly consistent with testimony from other alleged Lockheed insiders, including Boyd Bushman and Edgar Fouché, as well as with documents and testimony from Bernard Haisch.
Credibility Assessment
UAP Gerb rates Phillips as the least credible of the principal Lockheed-connected insiders reviewed, primarily because his claimed employment history cannot be verified. The only confirmed documentary evidence of Phillips is a newspaper clipping dated July 29, 1965, which confirms an Air Force role and identifies him as a graduate of Pierce College — the same institution attended by Bob Lazar. No records substantiating his claimed roles with Lockheed Skunk Works or the CIA have been located. UAP Gerb notes the content of his claims aligns with those of more verifiable sources but declines to assess them as credible absent background verification.
