Charles Bolden

Charles Frank Bolden Jr. is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Major General and former NASA astronaut who served as NASA Administrator from 2009 to 2017. Bolden flew four Space Shuttle missions and served as associate administrator under the Clinton administration. In UAP research, he appears in a peripheral capacity: a French press article forwarded by Elaine Boder to Steven Greer in late February 2009 discussed candidates for the next NASA administrator and referenced Bolden specifically. Greer's handwritten notes from around the same time appear to reference NASA pilots by name (with redactions), raising questions about whether Bolden or other shuttle astronauts were being discussed in connection with the alleged Apollo 8 UFO film that Boder claimed to have viewed.
