Ed Doll
"Ed Doll" is the informal name for Edward Bushnell Doll, physicist and project director for Operation Upshot-Knothole at the Nevada Proving Ground in 1953. In Arthur Stansel Jr.'s account of the 1953 Kingman, Arizona Crash Retrieval, Doll is the individual who telephoned Stansel on the evening of May 20, 1953, to inform him of the next day's special assignment.
