Eddie L Anderson

Eddie L. Anderson was a U.S. Air Force Colonel who responded to a 1991 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted by UFO researcher Brian Parks regarding the alleged "Blue Room" at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. In his response, Anderson confirmed that materials relating to the Blue Room — specifically including film — had been destroyed on September 9, 1965. This date falls during a period roughly contemporaneous with Senator Barry Goldwater's requests for access to the facility and General Curtis LeMay's tenure as Air Force Chief of Staff (1961–1965). Anderson's response is one of the few official government acknowledgments, however indirect, of the Blue Room's existence and prior contents.
