National Nuclear Security Administration

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is a semi-autonomous agency within the US Department of Energy responsible for managing the US nuclear weapons stockpile, naval nuclear propulsion, nuclear nonproliferation programs, and emergency response to nuclear and radiological incidents. Established in 2000 by the National Defense Authorization Act, the NNSA operates several national laboratories including Sandia National Laboratories and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and manages the Nuclear Emergency Support Team (NEST) as its premier rapid radiological response unit. The NNSA's Office of Secure Transportation (OST) is responsible for the physical transport of nuclear materials and weapons components between secure facilities.

Alleged UAP Involvement

The NNSA and its subordinate organizations are alleged to play multiple roles in UAP crash retrieval operations. NEST is alleged to provide radiological assessment teams at UAP crash sites — consistent with the MOPP-gear-wearing DOE personnel observed at the alleged 1997 Peru crash by Jonathan Weygandt. The NNSA's Office of Secure Transportation (OST) is alleged to be utilized for transporting recovered UAP materials between secure facilities. Sandia National Laboratories and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory are also cited in connection with reverse engineering of allegedly recovered non-human technologies, including the magnetic field disruptor components claimed to underlie the TR-3B alien reproduction vehicle program.
