Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) is one of six major operational centers under Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and activated on July 9, 2012. AFLCMC is the single center responsible for total life-cycle management of Air Force aircraft, engines, munitions, and electronic systems — spanning information technology and networks, command/control/communications/intelligence/surveillance/reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, armaments, strategic systems, aerial platforms, installation and infrastructure management, and combat readiness programs. Lieutenant General Donna D. Shipton has served as AFLCMC's commander since early 2024, its first female commander; she previously served as Military Deputy in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (SAF/AQ or SAF/ATNL) from 2022 to 2023.

Information Protection Directorate (AFLCMC/IP)

AFLCMC's Information Protection Directorate (AFLCMC/IP) is the center's program-protection element for Air Force acquisition and sustainment, extending across AFMC's other major operating areas, including the Air Force Test Center and Air Force Research Laboratory, and interfacing with the Air Force's component-level Special Access Program Central Office, SAF/AAZ. AFLCMC/IP is directed by Terrence L. Reynolds, whose responsibilities span information security, personnel security, industrial security, acquisition security, international program security, operations security, the scientific and technical information program, and program protection planning across the Department of the Air Force.

Alleged UAP Involvement

UAP Gerb's Special Access Required Vol.2 names AFLCMC/IP as one of four "program protection" offices — alongside DARPA Security and Intelligence Directorate (SID), AFOSI/PJ, and DOE OICI — that the presenter alleges are deputized to enforce insider- and outsider-threat protection connected to alleged UFO legacy program activity within Air Force acquisition. The video connects AFLCMC's mission and Lieutenant General Shipton's prior SAF/AQ role, cited in UAP Gerb's earlier Hidden Wing investigation, to what the presenter argues is a chain of senior Air Force acquisition officials theoretically positioned to hold knowledge of or access to non-human technology exploitation programs.
