Michael Herrera Coverage
In June 2023, prior to the National Press Club press conference, the Daily Mail published an article about Michael Herrera's UAP encounter testimony, with reporter Josh Boswell conducting the interview. This article was arranged through Steven Greer's facilitation. The article featured text messages from one of Herrera's fellow Marines who was present during the 2009 Indonesia encounter, stating "leave me out of that" in response to being asked (via Herrera) to provide anonymous testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee.
The Daily Mail also published one of only two publicly known photographs of Herrera, which was later used in attempts to identify him in a photograph provided by Nathan (another Marine who contradicted Herrera's account), though the identification was disputed based on camouflage pattern analysis.
