Project Grudge
Project Grudge was the second official United States Air Force investigation into unidentified flying objects (UFOs), succeeding Project Sign and preceding Project Blue Book. The program was directed by Captain Edward J. Ruppelt, who also went on to direct Project Blue Book. Project Grudge continued the Air Force's official investigation of UFO reports during the late 1940s and early 1950s, though it represented a shift toward more skeptical analysis compared to Project Sign's initial openness to the phenomenon.
