Galactic Federation
The Galactic Federation is a claimed or theorized governing body comprising multiple extraterrestrial species that interact, communicate, and cooperate under a shared organizational structure analogous to an interstellar United Nations or federal government. The concept has roots in science fiction — most visibly Star Trek's United Federation of Planets and Star Wars' Galactic Senate — but has been asserted as a real entity by several figures in UAP and intelligence community disclosure circles, most prominently by former Israeli Space Security Chief Haim Eshed in 2020 and alleged former CIA officer John Ramirez.

Claimed Existence
In December 2020, Haim Eshed — who directed Israel's military Space Program for nearly 30 years — stated in an interview with the Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot that:
- A Galactic Federation of extraterrestrial species exists.
- Some members of the Federation are already present on Earth.
- The Federation had requested that governments delay public disclosure because humanity was not psychologically prepared for contact.
- A joint underground base on Mars hosts both US astronauts and extraterrestrial representatives.
Former alleged CIA officer John Ramirez has made independently similar claims about the existence of a present Galactic Federation with an ongoing relationship with elements of the US government.
Speculation and Context
The existence claims have not been corroborated by any government, independent researcher, or physical evidence. However, Eshed's credentials — nearly three decades directing classified space defense programs at the highest level of the Israeli government — gave his statements unusual weight in UAP discourse compared to typical anonymous claims.
The broader concept of a galactic governing body is regarded as plausible by some UAP researchers who accept that multiple extraterrestrial civilizations are probably interacting with Earth and with each other, and that the structured presence of multiple species would logically require some form of diplomatic or organizational framework.
