DARPA Security And Intelligence Directorate (SID)
The Security and Intelligence Directorate (SID) is an internal support directorate at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency responsible for the security of DARPA's high-risk research and development portfolio. SID's mission encompasses information, personnel, industrial, and physical security across DARPA and its contractor sites, providing "risk-managed, proactive program protection" through embedded program security representatives (PSRs) who support DARPA's research portfolio spanning fundamental research, controlled unclassified information, collateral classified work, Special Access Programs, and sensitive compartmented information activities alike, rather than being siloed by classification category. SID's earliest documented reference dates to at least 2003. Alleged UAP Involvement
