UAP Task Force

The Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) was a U.S. Department of Defense program established in August 2020 to detect, analyze, and catalog UAPs that could potentially pose threats to national security. The task force operated under the Office of Naval Intelligence and represented the successor to the earlier AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program). The UAPTF was active from 2017 to 2022 before being succeeded by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).

Alleged Leaked Internal Reports

An alleged leaked classified document that surfaced online in 2021 or 2022 purports to be a section from a longer classified appendix of a UAPTF report prepared for Congress. The document, which includes sections titled "Behavioral Data Analysis" and references to "DOD 1992 through 2017 High Value Witness Interviews," allegedly classifies the Flyby Footage as "high value witness testimony" within Appendix F, Section 4B. The document lists researchers K Shakoya, M. Harmon, S. McCaron, and Hillary S. McCaron as contributors, with the latest contribution dated 2020.

The authenticity of this document remains unverified, and as noted by the presenter, exhaustive searches for the named researchers and referenced reports (including the "Blackout Flower Report" and "Layer Three Behavioral Assessment") have yielded minimal results, raising questions about whether the document represents genuine leaked material, a sophisticated fabrication, or a document using pseudonyms for classification purposes.

Operational Methods

The UAP Task Force has been referenced for using Top Secret online forums to discuss UAP matters, establishing secure communication channels for information sharing among cleared personnel. This operational approach reflects the highly compartmentalized nature of UAP investigations within the U.S. government.
