2001 Disclosure Project Press Conference

On May 9, 2001, Steven Greer organized the landmark Disclosure Project press conference at the National Press Club, featuring testimony from over 20 military, intelligence, and government witnesses regarding UAP encounters and alleged government knowledge of non-human intelligence. This event remains one of the most significant public UAP disclosure efforts and helped establish the National Press Club as a venue for serious UAP testimony.

2023 UAP Whistleblower Events

In June 2023, the National Press Club hosted events featuring multiple UAP whistleblowers as part of ongoing disclosure efforts. Michael Herrera spoke publicly at the National Press Club on June 12, 2023, providing his account of the 2009 Indonesia encounter with an octagonal craft, armed operators, and an apparent human trafficking operation connected to classified programs. This appearance was preceded by a two-day event on June 10-11 where Herrera and other witnesses presented their experiences.

Steven Greer helped facilitate Herrera's National Press Club appearance and coordinated with the Daily Mail to publish Herrera's testimony prior to the event. During these events, alleged insiders from classified UAP programs were present in attendance, though they did not speak publicly. One insider sent an encrypted message to Greer stating they knew what Herrera had witnessed, which led to subsequent contact and meetings between Herrera and individuals claiming involvement in covert programs.
