Norton Air Force Base
Norton Air Force Base was a United States Air Force installation located in San Bernardino, California, approximately 60 miles east of Los Angeles. The base was a major Strategic Air Command and Air Mobility Command hub before being closed in 1994 under the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process. Norton is cited in UAP research as the departure point for the November 1988 classified aerospace exhibit at which Brad Sorenson allegedly witnessed three Alien Reproduction Vehicle Flux Liners.

1988 ARV Air Show Event
In November 1988, a major public USAF air show was held at Norton Air Force Base. During the Thunderbirds flyby display, Brad Sorenson was escorted away from the main public exhibit by his client — identified by Mark McCandlish with high confidence as Frank Carlucci, then-Secretary of Defense. Sorenson and other selected individuals boarded a military Boeing 727 that flew north from Norton to Air Force Plant 42 (AFP 42) in Palmdale, California, where the private classified exhibit was held in a Skunk Works hangar. The public Norton air show served as cover for the transport of approximately 30 senior individuals to the classified Palmdale briefing.
Lieutenant Colonel John Williams, who served as an electrical engineer managing construction projects for Military Air Command at Norton from 1981 to 1982, separately stated that he was aware of a facility within Norton Air Force Base so secretive that not even the base's wing commander was allowed access. Rumors at the base held that this facility housed a UAP — a claim McCandlish noted as consistent with the broader Norton-to-Palmdale ARV program geography.
