Mark Mandel Planned Congressional Testimony

The planned Congressional testimony of Mark McCandlish refers to McCandlish's alleged scheduled appearance before elements of the US Senate on UAP matters in June 2021. According to UAP researcher Robert D. Morning Star, McCandlish had been in direct contact with Senator Marco Rubio in the months leading up to April 2021 and was preparing to testify under oath about his decades of investigation into the Alien Reproduction Vehicle Flux Liner, the classified 1988 Air Force Plant 42 exhibit witnessed by Brad Sorenson, and related UAP legacy program matters.

Date2021-06

McCandlish died on April 13, 2021, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound — approximately two months before his scheduled testimony. UAP Gerb and other researchers have raised the question of whether the transition from informal public disclosure to sworn Senate testimony may have been the "final straw" that ended whatever protection Brad Sorenson alleged he had provided to McCandlish, stating: "I protected him until I could not."

The timing parallels other cases in which individuals who made commitments to formal Congressional testimony subsequently died or were otherwise silenced before appearing.
